Hozumi Yoda to assume the office of new president

Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd., Japan's largest maker of injection molding machines, announced today that Tsukasa Yoda (ex-executive director and president) assumed the office of executive director and chairman, and Hozumi Yoda (ex-director, concurrently director and executive vice president of Nissei America, Inc.) assumed the office of executive director and president.
The company was listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Nagoya Stock Exchange on March 1, 2001. Taking opportunity of the beginning of the new century, the personnel changes this time principally aim to enrich company's management system further by means of increasing the executive directors from one to two, and to activate the management with the restoration of youth of top executives.
From now on, the chairman will engage in deciding the company's management policy with a wide view, and in the activities of outside the company including the plastics industry. The president will supervise the execution of management.
Hozumi Yoda, the new president, has been endeavoring to expand Nissei brand in the U.S.A. until now, as the executive vice president of Nissei America, Inc. From 1999, he has been taking responsibility for a part of the company's management, as the director of the headquarters. From April onward, he will assume the office of president and exercise his capability in management.
