Two Series of All-Electric Vertical Injection Molding Machine Come Out on the Market

Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. has put 9 models of the "TH Series" machines and 3 models of the "TD Series" to practical use as all-electric vertical injection molding machines.

Based on the results accumulated by Nissei in manufacturing hydraulic vertical machines for many years, for both of the series, enough attention has been paid to the convenience of users. Both of the series enable users to select the most suitable model ideal for the purpose of molding and production form, the plant layout, and the automation system.

The basic bases of both series can be selected by the purpose of molding from the single-stage type and the turntable type mold clamping systems.

Common features of both Series are:
(1) An AC servomotor is used for each working, and the machine materializes substantial reduction in energy consumption (Max. 80% energy saving in comparison with hydraulic machines) and the running cost together with smooth operation (Max. 11% cycle shortening in comparison with hydraulic machines).
(2) The injection unit swivels, so it substantially facilitates maintenance such as cleaning of the screw and heating cylinder.
(3) High-rigidity die plate materializes the least deformation and displacement of molds.
(4) The machine is mounted with the controller, "NC9300T."

The single-stage type mold clamping system is most suitable for hoop molding, especially for the continuous molding of filters and relay terminals because the upper mold moves up and down. Moreover, it is also most suited to the molding which requires three-dimensional bending as a pretreatment.
The features of the machine are:
(1) most suitable for hoop molding, is used.
(2) The rigidity of the die plate has been increased compared with the machines (hydraulic type) currently in use.
(3) Our company's original control technology using the high function servomotor ensures the high cycle molding.

For the turntable type mold clamping system, two lower molds (A and B) are set on the table and are turning 180 degrees. The machine is most suitable for insert molding of dissimilar materials such as resin and metal, and for the automatic molding system loaded with post-treatment equipment.
The features of the machine are:
(1) The four-tie-bar type mold clamping system is used that has been used successfully in the turntable type models, and accordingly the diameter of a turntable has been enlarged, permitting the installation of a large-sized mold of maximum 30 percent compared with the machines (hydraulic type) currently in use.
(2) The machine facilitates smooth turning of the table by means of the AC servomotor control.

The 9 models of the TH Series are:
(1) The machines with the combination of the single-stage type mold clamping system and the center injection (vertical injection against a molding machine) system;
"TH20E" having the mold clamping force of 196kN (20 tons)
"TH40E" having the mold clamping force of 392kN (40 tons)
"TH60E" having the mold clamping force of 588kN (60 tons)
"TH80E" having the mold clamping force of 784kN (80 tons).
(2) The machines with the combination of the turntable type mold clamping system and the center injection system;
"TH20RE" having the mold clamping force of 196kN (20 tons)
"TH40RE" having the mold clamping force of 392kN (40 tons)
"TH60RE" having the mold clamping force of 588kN (60 tons)
"TH80RE" having the mold clamping force of 784kN (80 tons).
(3) The machine with the combination of the turntable type mold clamping system and the center injection system or the parting injection (horizontal injection) system through a selection;
"TH110RE" having the mold clamping force of 1078kN (110 tons).

The 3 models of the TD Series are:
(1) The machines with the combination of the single-stage type mold clamping system and the parting injection system;
"TD110E" having the mold clamping force of 1078kN (110 tons)
"TD155E" having the mold clamping force of 1520kN (155 tons).
(2) The machine with the combination of the turntable type mold clamping system and the parting injection system;
"TD155RE" having the mold clamping force of 1520kN (155 tons).
