Nissei Acquires the Certification of ISO9001:2000
Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. recently has completed an examination on transition to a Quality Management System Standards, ISO9001: 2000, by the International Standards Organization which attaches the greatest importance to customers. In the injection molding industry, customers' needs have become diversified increasingly such as ultra precision high accuracy molding, quality and production control, and cost reduction. In such a situation, our company has declared our quality policy as "to promote manufacturing whereby both customers and the company can grow together." Through headquarters and all the sales offices thoroughly, we are expressing our company's attitude to think much of customers stronger than ever. The contents have expanded the scope of application of ISO9001 currently in use, and taking in the customer-oriented principle, incorporated smooth communication with customers mainly for the information on products and technologies. With the deadline of December 15, 2003 of the revision for ISO9001: 2000, our company started preparations from the middle of August 2001, and acquired the certification one year prior to the deadline. The institution of the certification is LRQA. Up until now, our company has acquired in January 1996 the certification of ISO9001 in the designing, development, manufacturing and shipment. Furthermore in April 1999, we have acquired the certification of the environment management system, ISO14001.
