Nissei Plastic Establishes Office in Tianjin, China
Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. has established the "Tianjin office" to enhance its sales, customer service and marketing activities in the Tianjin area of China, and opened for business as of November 1, 2004. The "Tianjin office" has been established as "outside bonded area office" (note) by Nissei's local subsidiary "Nissei Plastic (Shanghai) Co., Ltd." located in Shanghai. It has one Japanese and two local people on the staff, engaging in the sales, customer service and marketing activities in the Tianjin area. The Tianjin office is the third outside bonded area office, following the "Shanghai office" (opened in December 2003) and the "Suzhou office" (opened in September 2004). The Industrialization of the Tianjin area has rapidly progressed as a supplying base of IT-related products such as personal computers and cellular telephones, and the products for automobile industry. As a result, the advancement of the Japanese plastic molding plants has sharply been increasing. Up to now in the Tianjin area, the company has commissioned a local company the customer service activities, but opened the office for the purpose of conducting meticulous activities including customer support. Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd.'s bases in China are composed of local subsidiaries, "Nissei Plastic (Shanghai) Co., Ltd." in Shanghai, "Nissei Plastic (Hong Kong) Ltd." in Hong Kong, the Shanghai representative office, the Shanghai office and the Suzhou office. In addition, there is a local company in Dalian to which the company is commissioned service activities. (Note) The outside bonded area office: Nissei Plastic (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is located in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade zone. In China, the establishment of an office out of bonded area became possible from 2002, obtaining permission by the relevant authorities.
