Injection Molding Machine Donated to Vietnam's Hanoi University of Technology

Nissei Plastic Industrial donated an injection molding machine to Vietnam's Hanoi University of Technology on July 18 this year with the objective of supporting development of the plastics industry in Vietnam as well as the development of technicians in the country, which is an ASEAN nation of which growth is anticipated.

The injection molding machine donated was an 80-tonnes clamping force electric injection molding machine.

The Hanoi University of Technology was established in 1956 and it is a technology-oriented comprehensive university that currently has 14 departments, 30,000 students, 1,500 teaching staff, and 20 research centers. From two years ago, they have started teaching plastics processing. In addition, they have a good relationship with Nagaoka University of Technology, and the two universities are exchanging students.

Nissei previously donated an electric injection molding machine (clamping force of 40 tonnes) to the Hochiminh City University of Technology in early March.

The Hochiminh City University of Technology was established in 1957. It is a considered the leading engineering educational institution in Southern Vietnam and currently, it has 11 departments, 16,000 students, 900 educational staff, and 11 research centers. The Department of Mechanical Engineering to which the molding machine was donated possesses electric discharge machining centers, lathes, and wire-cut machining centers, and they produce tooling for their education purpose. On the occasion of the donation of the injection molding machine, they will conduct plastics-related classes, as well.

Both the Hanoi University of Technology and Hochiminh City University of Technology that Nissei donated the molding machines to are leading technical colleges in Vietnam that produce top-notch talent for the industrial sector.

In order to contribute to the development of plastics industries in the Asian region as well as development of human resources, not only does Nissei intend to donate molding machines in the future, but also planning to support individual areas appropriately.
