Singapore Subsidiary Implements Cooperative Project with Local Technical College Regarding Plastic Molding Training

The Singapore subsidiary of Nissei Plastic Industrial, Nissei Plastic Singapore (NPS), celebrated its 30th anniversary in September of this year and as a project to commemorate this event, they decided to implement a cooperative project with local technical college ITE regarding plastic molding training. The signing ceremony for this was held on September 1 in conjunction with an event commemorating this 30th anniversary of establishment.

Under the terms of the joint project, Nissei will furnish ITE (Institute of Technical Education) with one of its latest injection molding machines free lean, as well as offer ITE staff free training in plastic molding. In the future, with the aim of raising the quality of Singapore's plastics industry, both parties also plan to cooperate to organize various seminars and lectures.

NPS will donate an FNX80-9A hybrid injection molding machine with clamping force of 80 tonnes to ITE, the machine is installed at ITE College West - one of its three technical colleges. Injection molding courses will be conducted as part of the curriculum of the Precision Engineering Course.

ITE was established as a post-secondary technical education institution in 1992, and it is a key organization for technical training with the objective of strengthening Singapore's labor capability. Currently, besides ITE College West, ITE College Central and ITE College East are also operated.

Besides this cooperative project, Nissei has also donated injection molding machines to the Hanoi University of Technology and Hochiminh City University of Technology in Vietnam as part of its efforts let expand the plastics industry and to bring up the talent in the Asian region, and future plans also call for various support activities appropriate to the needs of individual regions.

In addition, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of NPS, a commemorative party was held in grand style at Singapore's Shangri La Hotel. The company president Yoda, local executives of NPS, Singaporean Government officials, and local companies, total 120 persons were attended.
