NISSEI selects the ideal resin and CNT according to customer’s needs, controls the additive rate freely between 0.01~40wt%, and produces the uniformly dispersed CNT composite materials to be sold. In addition, NISSEI can mold high-performance parts using the composite material and manufacture/sell these molded products upon request from customers.
CNT/Resin Composite Materials and Its Molding Process
The most crucial point of molding CNT/resin composite material is not to damage the CNT, which is ultra fine powder, while uniformly mixing it with resin to form a solid CNT network. NISSEI invented “NISSEI type pre-mixing method,” which has become one of the additions to their core technologies.
(1) Composite Material Production
Select the CNT (quality, property, and cost) to meet the client’s specifications.
Decide the distribution balance of the selected CNT and resin (density, additive rate, propertiy, and extrusion condition).
(2) Injection Molding Process
Evaluate the molding process, such as fluidity, and confirm the property, additive rate, distribution, and surface condition.
Process by a composite material injection molding machine (special plasticization specification and molten resin flow path design).
