Carbon Nanotube (CNT) is a nano-size fibrous structured material, which excels in electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and sliding property. As seen in the image, CNT is nano-sized and ultra fine that it does not obstruct the resin flow during injection molding process and is suitable for products in any shapes. Moreover, a fine adjustment of mixing rate is possible with our core competencies, enabling it to achieve the performance characteristics that require high electric conductivity and strength with the minimum CNT content rate.

Potential uses of CNT are below:

1. Application to the components that require anti-static property
Adjustment of volume resistance between 103~109Ω・cm is possible.
2. Reducing the product weight by reinforcing the strength
A product's strength can be reinforced 1.2~1.4 times than base resin alone by using less than 10wt% of CNT contained composite material.
3. Easy molding
Super-engineering plastics that are difficult to process can be substituted with CNT compounding with engineering plastic or general resins in some cases.
4. Improving the precision of molded parts
The precision of molded parts will be reinforced since it increases the rigidity, minimizes the contraction, and improves the thermal conductivity.
5. Outstanding surface smoothness
CNT is high in purity and excels in the points listed below since it does not roughen the surface because of its advantage of being nano-size. It also can be used as tray for electronics.
