Establishing customer service centers across India and Vietnam
Nissei Plastic Industrial, Co. Ltd. will establish a representative office in India and an office in Hanoi, Vietnam to strengthen customer support and to improve customer satisfaction in the South and Southeast Asian regions. The representative office in India has already begun its operations from May 30. The office in Hanoi will begin its operations from June 20. Until recently, the Mumbai agency has been operating in India, but by establishing a representative office in Gurgaon near Delhi, they will strengthen customer support for Japanese and local companies. Gurgaon is a 30 minute drive away by car from the Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport and is strategically located within a 2 hour radius of 11 industrial complexes near Delhi. It also has great access to the Neemrana industrial complex that is expected to grow in the near future. In March 2008, the number of Japanese companies in the Delhi district was 174. In April 2009, the number went up to 222. In the meantime, one Japanese staff will be in charge of overseeing injection machines and molding related customer support, as well as, monitoring trends in the Indian market. The office in Hanoi will be established as a branch of a foreign incorporated subsidiary located in Ho Chi Minh City, Nissei Plastic (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (incorporated in 2006). The office in Hanoi will assist Japanese, Korean, and Chinese companies mainly in the automotive and IT industries that are expected to move into to Hanoi to establish supply bases for the Chinese market. By establishing an office in the capital, Hanoi, the customer support structure in 2 major cities in the south and north will be streamlined to enable prompt responses to customer demand. The office in Hanoi will also begin its operations with one Japanese staff.
